Lotos Kolej not to undergo IPO

Polish group Lotos is not planning a stock exchange debut for its rail cargo subsidiary Lotos Kolej, which transports all products from and to the Gdansk refinery by rail. The company’s new strategy for 2017-2022 has Lotos Kolej playing a vital role in increasing the competitiveness of the logistics of the Lotos group.
In autumn last year, Lotos former deputy chief executive Przemysław Marchlewicz stated that an IPO is possible, depending on the rail cargo carrier’s strategy and investment plans.
Lotos Kolej transported around 12.7 million tonnes of products in 2016.
