The Kenya Railways (KRC) invites sealed bids for the following consultancy services: Consultancy services for preparation of resettlement action plan for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) phase 2A Nairobi-Naivasha.
Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has proposed development of a standard gauge railway line from Nairobi to Naivasha. The corporation therefore intends to acquire land for the development of the proposed railway corridor from land owners in the area. The land acquisition process for the above project is awaiting the input of the resettlement action plan (RAP).
The project involves construction of High speed and capacity standard gauge railway line from Nairobi to Naivasha. The length of the Railway line is approximately 120 Km.
