Iran opens rail traffic control centre

irna-traffic-controlIran President Hassan Rouhani has inaugurated the centre for rail traffic control the capital city of Khuzestan. The director general of Iran’s South Railways Abdolkarim Darvishzadeh said that the project of the construction of the center was USD 82.2 million and is the one of the most modern signaling systems. It covers 67 stations on Tehran-Ahwaz and Ahwaz-Bandar Emam-Khorramshahr railways.
In the Khuzestan Province, Iran carried out two rail projects that involved the modernisation of Ahwaz-Bandar Emam and Ahwaz-Andimeshk railways.
