India: new railway station offers free Wi-Fi service

07-indiaRailTel, the telecom arm of the Indian Railways, launched free public high-speed WiFi services at Bhubaneswar railway station in partnership with Google. The service was officially launched by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu accompanied by Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha and will be available to 140,000 customers at Bhubaneswar station daily.
Similar services will be made available by July at Puri Railway Station. The WiFi service has already been commissioned at Mumbai Central station.
