Hupac expands its intermodal network

Hupac has announced that starting this autumn will launch new connections and service improvements. The company will offer high frequency of departures, additional destinations and efficient terminal locations.
In October, departures increase in the core business of intermodal transport via the Alps and offer new capacity to the growing market demand. On this route, Hupac will provide increased frequency and additional services for Zeebrugge – Novara, Köln Nord – Busto Arsizio and Basel Weil – Busto Arsizio connections.
Also this month, the Rotterdam – Kornwestheim shuttle will be shifted on Maasvlakte offering a direct connection between the Port of Rotterdam and the industrial area of Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg.
The network between Singen and Italy has been improved by concentrating the departures
on the lines Singen – Busto Arsizio and Singen – Brescia. The offer now comprises
25 roundtrips per week.
This September, Hupac started service improvements on east-west axis, connecting Antwerp to Vienna, Budapest, Romania and Istanbul, on fixed schedules basis. Also from Antwerp, Hupac strengthens its intermodal service to eastern Germany, offering new regular service connecting Schkopau and increased frequency to Schwarzheide.
