Hitachi Rail has received the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal, the highest distinction awarded by the international sustainability assessment platform EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide over the past 12 months.
This recognition highlights the maturity of the sustainability management system developed by Hitachi Rail and reflects the company’s commitment to responsible business practices, environmental protection, ethical conduct, and transparency in the supply chain.
The EcoVadis Platinum Medal represents the highest level of certification awarded by EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading providers of corporate sustainability assessments. The organization’s analysis considers four main areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
