Foreign companies will increase direct investment in railway projects in Kazakhstan

dsc04597The heads of leading engineering companies confirmed, within global railway exhibition in Berlin, InnoTrans, their intention to increase direct investment in joint engineering projects implemented jointly with Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ). President of KTZ, Askar Mamin, and heads of General Electric Transportation – Russell Strouks, Alstom Transportation – Henri Poupart-Lafarge, Patentes Talgo – Jose Maria Oriol agreed action plans to increase the share of foreign companies in joint engineering projects until the end of this year. Increase in shares in joint projects will allow the foreign companies to continue work on integration of the Kazakhstan enterprises in global chains of its own supply chain and to increase the export potential.
