Development Bank of Kazakhstan begun funding the project of Transtelecom JSC on construction of hardware and software complex, communication platform along the railway lines.
The credit line opened by DBK, totaling KZT 25 bln (EUR 103 million) will allow to considerably expand the current communication channels, as well as to increase the speed of data flow rate. The funds provided were used to construct and upgrade 10 965 km of fiber optic communication lines (construction – 6 416 km, upgrade – 4 549 km) with regard to the existing needs of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
