Czech Republic: Mott MacDonald receives contracts for high speed rail project

cehiaMott MacDonald has been granted by Czech national railway infrastructure manager Správa Železniční Dopravní Cesty contracts to carry out two studies for a cross-border rail line that will connect Dresden (Germany) with Ústí nad Labem and Litoměřice (Czech Republic).
The contracts were received in a joint venture with Sudop Praha and include geotechnical investigations and environmental impact assessments for the possible routes, as well as preparatory works for design phases that involve technical investigation for major bridges and long tunnels
The Dresden-Ústí nad Labem electric railway will be part of the Trans European Transport Network’s Orient/East Med core corridor.
