Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority and the Kiewit-Parsons joint venture signed an alignment design-build contract for the 19.8-km LRT line Glendora to Montclair. The line will be served by 6 stations.
The contract includes a USD 805.6 million base scope for the first 14.5 km section of the project from Glendora to Pomona, with a two-year contract option to complete the full project to Montclair for a total contract amount of USD 1.2 million if additional funds are secured by October 2021.
The Glendora – Pomona section is anticipated to be completed in 2025, and the entire project to Montclair by 2028 if the contract option is initiated.
The Foothill Gold Line from Glendora to Montclair is estimated at USD 2.65 billion and I is expected that will add more than 18,300 daily riders to the metro system.
