Volodymyr Omelyan, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, met the representatives of Chinese companies to discuss the cooperation in railway and maritime industry and infrastructure construction under the development of new Silk Road.
“We hope for the joint implementation of large-scale projects that will give Ukraine a new quality, and – new successful business projects for China,” the Minister stated.
Among the parties which participated at the meeting were China Export-Import Bank, which is financing construction contracts and projects with the capitalization of USD 230 billion, China Railway Engineering Corporation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, the second largest company in China after Railway Engineering Corporation, which is engaged in the construction of railway infrastructure, tunnels, bridges, highways, airports, ports, with a capitalization of USD 34 billion, and China Communications Construction.
The total capitalization of Chinese companies, whose representatives were at the meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure is over USD 600 billion.
