Czech railway freight operator, ČD Cargo announced an international tender for the acquisition of five electric locomotives, equipped with ETCS Level 2. The value of the contract is CZK 550 million (EUR 20.35 million) and includes an option for other three locomotives.
The locomotives will need to be authorised for operation in Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania.
