Big Circle Line’s 8 new stations to be opened within two years

Moscow City announced that under the plans to complete several sections of the Big Circle Line, in 2020 it will open eight new stations. They will be situated between the Khoroshovskaya and Nizhniye Mnyovniki stations, between Aminyevskoye Shosse and Prospekt Vernadskogo and between Prospekt Vernadskogo and Kakhovskaya.
“The Big Circle Line’s sections (…) are to be completed in 2020, including the renovated Kakhovskaya Line (Line 11),” Deputy Moscow Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Knusnullin said.
The first section of Big Circle Line was opened in February and currently has five stations. The Petrovsky Park-Nizhnyaya Maslovka section is to be completed before the year is out, followed by the Aviamotornaya-Lefortovo section in 2019.
Big Circle Line will be fully completed by late 2022. It will have 31 stations, including 19 stations with seamless connections to other metro lines, the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) belt railway and also commuter train routes too.
