Antimonopoly authority alows Moscow Metro to buy 50% in MKZD

Moscow,_MKZDThe Russia Federal Antimonopoly Service allowed Moscow Metro to buy 50% of Moscow Ring Railway (MKZD), Russian Rail Consulting quotes RIA Novosti.
Moscow City and RZD established MKZD to rebuild and develop the so-called “smaller ring” of the Moscow Railway. Later RZD decided to sell its share in MKZD to Moscow; RZD Vice President Pyotr Katsyv was saying that his company would get RUB 3 billion (USD 45.4 million) for this share.
Logistically, Moscow Ring Railway will be fully integrated with Moscow Metro.
