A new joint train product between Poland and Germany

hupacStarting with 4th January, with a four times per week frequency, PCC Intermodal, Hupac Intermodal and Kombiverkehr announced the joint train product alongside their own existing services, on the transport corridor between the Ruhrgebiet and Poland.
New direct train with capacity for up to 1200 tonnes of cargo will run in each direction between the DUSS terminal in Duisburg and Kutno four times a week, and twice a week with a stop in Poznan Franowo. RBH, a subsidiary of DB Schenker Rail, will be providing the traction for the trains on the German side, and DB Schenker Rail Polska will be doing the same on the Polish side. The closing times for acceptance are late and the pick-up times early in Duisburg and Kutno, thus facilitating the optimization of vehicle operations in the region. There are options for onward transport from Duisburg and Kutno to make use of the operators’ existing national and international services.
