A new agreement on Russia-China rail freight service signed

RZD Logistics and YuXinOu, from Chongqing, in southwestern China, signed an agreement on the joint development of services for the railway delivery of Russian food products to China.
“YuXinOu (Chongqing) Logistics once launched the first transit train within the framework of the “One Belt – One Road” initiative from Chongqing to Duisburg. RZD Logistics has several regular import and transit services in communication with Chongqing, and our joint task is to bring export services on a regular basis”, Viacheslav Valentik, Director General of RZD Logistics, said, at the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the two companies intend to work on expanding the geography of Agroexpress, a specialized railway service for delivering Russian food products to China, and plan to conduct a series of shipments from Russia to Chongqing by the end of the year. Among the proposed cargoes, including those requiring transport in compliance with the temperature and veterinary control. YuXinOu (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd also plans to take a direct part in the sale of Russian goods in China, the Chinese company has created a specialized trading division for these purposes.

The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the China International Import Expo in Shanghai (China).
