Zonegreen, a UK-based specialist in rail safety technology, will present its latest depot protection systems at the Global Rail and Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi from 30 September to 2 October.
Organised by Etihad Rail, the annual event at the ADNEC Centre will feature more than 300 exhibitors from 40 countries. Zonegreen will highlight its full portfolio of safety solutions, including the flagship Depot Personnel Protection System (DPPS) and the Zonegreen Electronic Interlocking Solution.
Proven safety systems in the Middle East
DPPS is designed to protect depot staff from unexpected train movements by automating key safety processes. First introduced in the United Arab Emirates in 2008 at three Dubai Metro depots, the system has since been deployed at three additional sites supporting the Doha Metro in Qatar, safeguarding 22 maintenance roads across modern facilities.
Expanding global reach
Zonegreen’s Head of Sales, Sebastian Baucutt, said:

Zonegreen’s business development manager, Muadh Khan, will also join the team in Abu Dhabi to meet delegates and showcase the company’s technologies.
Zonegreen’s solutions will be presented at the UK Pavilion, stand 3B33.
