Union Pacific invests USD 120 million in its Kansas rail infrastructure

UPUnion Pacific plans to invest about USD 120 million in 2015 to improve Kansas’ transportation infrastructure. Union Pacific’s planned investment covers nearly USD 110 million to maintain railway track, USD 2.2 million to enhance signal systems and USD 7.5 million to maintain or replace bridges in the state.
Union Pacific plans to spend USD 4.2 billion across its network this year.
