Swietelsky wins EUR 44.5 mln contract in Hungary

SWIETELSKY worksNAGY-MEZŐ 2015 Consortium formed by Swietelsky Vasúttechnika Kft. /Duna Aszfalt Kft won a HUF 13.98 billion (EUR 44.5 million) contract awarded by Hungarian State Railways- MÁV.
The contract includes the modernization of Nagyút  – Mezőkeresztes-Mezőnyárád railway line. The consortium will have to carry out railway construction works, refurbishment work, miscellaneous special-trade construction work, approval plans, working drawings and specifications and catenary’s construction works.
The modernization of the line will allow passenger trains to run 120 km/h and freight trains, 80 km/h.
