Network Rail selects Ganymede Solutions as a key strategic partner for its CP5 programme

ganymedeRTC announced that Ganymede Solutions Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary business, has been chosen by Network Rail to be a key strategic partner for Network Rail’s CP5 (control period five) programme of work. CP5 is a five year £38bn (52 billion euros) spending and investment programme into the UK’s railway network announced by the government in March 2014.
Ganymede will provide contingent labour services including the supply of safety critical, track and electrification and plant resources in the West, South West and North East England, the Midlands and Wales. The contract will run for five years from April 2015 and has an estimated value of £80-100m (110-137.4 million euros).
“Ganymede has steadily established itself as one of the UK’s most respected contingent labour suppliers and our long term partnership with Network Rail both underpins this and provides a fundamental pillar for the strategic growth plans of RTC’s business,” RTC Chief Executive Andy Pendlebury said.
