Increased traffic for Israel Railways

02-israelIn the first half of 2015, Israel Railways carried 25.9 million passengers, which represents a 6% increase in passenger traffic compared to H1 2014. For the first time, the company is carrying more than 200,000 passengers daily, up 11% from 180,000 per day in the corresponding period of 2014.
In the same period, Israel Railways’ revenue from passenger traffic rose to NIS 375.5 million (EUR 85.3 million), up from NIS 345 million (EUR 78.3 million) in the first half of 2014.
Cargo volumes rose by 3%, to 3.7 million tons.
