Georgia not holding talks on Abkahzia railway

Georgia is not holding talks on resuming the railway link between Georgia and Russia via Abkahzia, Georgian Foreign Minister Tamara Beruchashvili said.
“There are no talks. I want to stress once again that any infrastructure project or project of other kind will be considered only if it is in compliance with Georgia’s national interests,” Ekhokavkaza.com quotes the Minister.
Earlier Russian leader Vladimir Putin said Russia and Abkhazia may organize transit railway link on the route Sukhum-Tbilisi-Yerevan.
