Euroairlines integrates Renfe and Trenitalia into train-airline tickets

Euroairlines, a Spanish company specializing in the distribution of airline services, is taking an important step in diversifying European mobility through a strategic partnership with AccesRail, a global reference platform for integrating rail services into airline itineraries. The agreement allows for the sale of combined train-airline tickets, facilitating direct connections between airports, urban centers, and regional destinations in Spain, Italy, and other markets that will be added in the near future.

Through this collaboration, Euroairlines integrates the routes operated by Renfe and Trenitalia into its systems, both in the high-speed and long-distance segments.

The intermodal solution allows travelers to purchase a single ticket that combines a flight with a rail segment, reducing transfer times and simplifying access to major cities that do not have direct air connections.

Extended connections in Spain and Italy

In Spain, passengers can combine Euroairlines flights with Renfe trains to destinations such as Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Málaga, Pamplona, Seville, Valencia, and Zaragoza.

In Italy, the integration facilitates transfers between flights operated at Fiumicino Airport or Roma Termini station and cities such as Bologna, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, and Venice.

The model responds to the growing demand for door-to-door mobility solutions, where travel is not limited to the airport but continues seamlessly to the final destination.

A step forward in the global expansion strategy

For Euroairlines, the agreement with AccesRail represents a key moment in consolidating its position as an international connectivity provider.

The partnership with AccesRail reinforces our commitment to intermodality, a model that expands the network of destinations, increases passenger flexibility, and promotes more efficient and sustainable mobility,” says Antonio López-Lázaro, CEO of Euroairlines.

This agreement allows us to reach places that are inaccessible by air, thanks to rail connectivity, and improves travel options for passengers.

The company plans to integrate additional rail operators in the coming months, expanding its intermodal portfolio in Europe and other continents.

A collaboration supported by shared digital infrastructure

Euroairlines, founded in 2000 and specializing in global distribution through GDS systems, uses digital processes and artificial intelligence solutions to optimize sales and occupancy rates.

The company has offices in Madrid, New York, Miami, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, São Paulo, Santiago de Chile, and several European capitals.

AccessRail, founded in Canada in 1997, connects air and rail operators through the same global reservation environment used by airlines.

This infrastructure enables the sale of combined tickets and creates integrated itineraries on high-speed and long-distance routes in Europe, America, and Asia.

Through this agreement, Euroairlines is aligning itself with a growing European trend: replacing short flights with fast rail connections and creating efficient intermodal networks.

As air and rail operators synchronize their offerings, passengers benefit from more sustainable solutions and greater flexibility in their choice of routes.
