Đuro Đaković Specijalna vozila d.d. Đuro Đaković Group (Croatia) and Ermewa Ferroviaire have signed an agreement on the manufacture and delivery of Falns 64 series freight wagons worth 61 million kuna (EUR 7.9 million). This agreement continues on the realisation of an agreement with the same client concluded in August of last year, with the wagons to be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2015.
The Falns 64 wagons are 4-axle open wagons for the transport of bulk freight that is not weather sensitive. The application of modern technology in construction and fabrication has optimised the wagons to provide a high payload of 70 tonnes while minimalizing the wagon’s unladen weight. Following the specific requirements of the end user, the wagons have successfully passed testing in severe infrastructure conditions.
