Czech Republic: South Korea may take part in airport rail link project

airport_Vaclav Havel-PragueSouth Korean companies might participate in the construction of a fast rail link from Prague’s center to the Václav Havel Airport, Czech Transport Minister Dan Ťok said, after a meeting with his counterpart Suh Seoung-hwan, during Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka’s visit to South Korea, writes Prague Post.
“I called on the South Korean colleagues to take part in the planned tender to build the railway to the Prague airport. We want to have a link to get from the airport to the center in less than 20 minutes,” said Tok.
The tenders for the individual parts of the rail link may be launched in 3-4 years. SŽDC is currently preparing a feasibility study, which could be finished by the middle of this year.
