Contract on Melbourne metro station upgrades awarded

Metro Trains Melbourne operator awarded engineering company RCR Tomlinson a contract to deliver station upgrade works within the Melbourne Underground Rail Loop project.
Under the AUD 70 million (USD 55.78 million) contract, RCR will deliver engineering, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of system upgrades for three stations.
The city’s Underground Rail Loop project is essential for Melbourne’s metro rail network and includes three underground stations at Parliament, Melbourne Central and Flagstaff below the Melbourne CBD.
