A new station for Noble Park, Victoria

noble-park-designA brand new Noble Park station is being built as part of the UAD 1.6 billion (USD 1.15 million) transformation of the Cranbourne-Pakenham line, Melbourne, Victoria.
The new station will include a number of improvements, including the relocation of the power substation to the west of the station car park to near the corner of Thomas Street and Douglas Street, which will create a new space for people to meet and wait for the train, as well as improve access to the Douglas Street shops from Mons Parade.
Noble Park is one of five stations that will be completely rebuilt as part of the Caulfield to Dandenong project, which is removing nine of Victoria’s worst level crossings, upgrading signalling and creating 22.5 hectares of new parks, paths and open space in Melbourne’s south east.
Construction on the project has already begun and is expected to be complete by late 2018.
